PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT
Cancellation your Grooming appointment / No-Show
48hours notice is required for grooming cancellations/rescheduling so we can fill your appointment. Failure to comply with this timeframe WILL result in your groom fee being charged in full.
If you fail to attend your appointment (no-show) you WILL be invoiced the full amount of your service which will need to be paid within 24 hours. Please note that if this occurs, NO future bookings will be accepted until this invoice has been paid.
Repeat offenders will need to pay in full in advance when booking their next appointment.
Please note that if you cancel without a minimum 48 hours’ notice or do not show for your appointment, we encounter loss of income for an appointment we could have filled. More than 2 No-Shows in a 6-month period will result in your animal no longer being able to attend Top Paws Dog Grooming.
Dropping off and Collecting your fur Kid
As we run by appointment ONLY, please ensure you arrive ON TIME or 5 mins early to ensure that your consultation can be completed and your dog’s groom can start at the allocated time. If you arrive late, we may be unable to attend to your dog’s groom as this will encroach on the next dogs "Pamper Time". If you know ahead of time that you will be late for your pet’s scheduled appointment, please call the salon immediately to be sure that we can still accommodate you.
You will be notified of your pets approx. collection time during your arrival consultation and once the groom is completed you will receive a text message (which you are required to acknowledge) and you MUST collect your dog within 15mins. Late pick-up fees will apply if animals are left at the salon for an extended period being charged at $20.00 per 30 mins
Do Not enter the salon to collect your dog until you have received the aforementioned text message as this could interrupt the grooming process as your pet could become excited or unruly with you present resulting in the groomer being unable to complete the service or worse, your dog being harmed by shape instruments. Furthermore, If you arrive early and see there is a dog being groomed, please ensure you stay "out of sight" until the groomer lets you know its safe as this will alleviate any harm coming to the dog currently being groomed
We respect your time is valuable and ask that you treat ours the same. Like you, we have other clients who deserve the same respect & time your fur baby has just enjoyed
Grooming
We reserve the right to modify your pet’s haircut and price in accordance with coat condition which will will be discussed during your consultation when you arrive for your pet’s appointment .
All dogs must be flea free but if staff notice active fleas on your pet, a Treatment will be given and the owner will be charged an extra $25.00 to cover flea shampoo, extra time, salon clean up and treatment of the salon to ensure my grooming salon stays safe for all pets
· If you are unhappy with your experience, we ask that you bring this to our attention (NOT social media) within 24 hours after the groom and allow us the chance to resolve the issue. This is very important so that we can cater your needs.
· If you know your pet has any health or previous grooming issues ie: injury, soreness, sleepy, wets or poo's on the groom table, yelps or screams, temperament issues then you MUST inform the groomer before any servicing. Your groomer will find out during the service but it is your duty of care to inform the staff.
Top paws has the right to refuse any services/Dog at any time. In the event that your pet is too stressed, Bites, is aggressive or becomes dangerous to groom, Top Paws has the right to cease & Cancel grooming at anytime (please note, if this situation occurs, the full service will still be charged)
We reserve the right to refuse service to any animal or person
· Grooming Incidents
Are a rare occurrence but there is always a risk when using sharp instruments on your animal. Grooming blades and scissors are extremely sharp and even though extreme caution is used, accidents can occur eg: Cuts/Nicks/Rashes or coat cutting mishaps due to your dog wriggling, pulling away or unruly behavior. All incidents will be reported to you and first aid, if necessary, will be provided. Should an injury occur requiring a trip to the Vet then this bill/costs will be the responsibility of you, the owner to pay
* Vaccination
It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that your dog has the appropriate and up to date vaccinations before booking your pet in for a groom at Top Paws. No responsibility will be taken if you dog falls ill after visiting our Salon and any subsequent vet or medical expenses will be borne by you, the owner.
If your dog is NOT de-sexed and is "In Season" it is a requirement that you re-schedule your appointment ensuring you provide the required 48 hours notice)
* Payment
Cash - Please bring correct money as change may not be available
Eftpos - Is available. A charge of 1.1% will be added to your groom amount
· As a small business we always provide excellent service at a fair price.
· We welcome customers from varying race, ethnic, culture, status, gender identity etc.
· We will not tolerate inappropriate behavior such as verbal abuse, cyber bullying, business defamation and constant no show/ late arrival.
By booking in your pet, you agree to abide by the terms & Conditions as set out above and Completion of your booking will act as your consent even without your signature
